From lentils representing ancient Roman abundance to chocolate’s promise of sweet fortune, from the Greek Vasilopita cake with its hidden coin of good luck to the twelve grapes enjoyed across Spain and Latin America for blessings in every month ahead, each course weaves flavor and meaning into a celebration of new beginnings and shared hope for the year ahead.
